When my wife and I watched this series, I would air-drum the verse sections at the beginning, then switch to bass for that sweet solo on the bridge, then back to the drums for the double-time switch. Every episode.

I do something similar for iCarly.

And I always open my mouth and sing the tonal moan at the beginning of HBO originals. Sometimes I can’t help but air-piano the beginning of Curb Your Enthusiasm right after, even if that’s not the show we’re watching, because it’s so burned in at this point it’s like the HBO moan is actually part of the song.

These kinds of rituals are an important part of television for me.

I aired the opening slide down the air fretboard and a little more staccato than was necessary on lead. Climax on an epic double-foot pound on the kick and then roll over and go to sleep.
